3. What should I expect at the Higher Ground Music Festival?

Expect to have a great time! Expect to meet great people and expect to be moved by some of today's best Christian music. Higher Ground offers a relaxed and intimate atmosphere with plenty to do. With a smaller audience than other festivals, you get lost in the music, not lost in the crowd.

4. Is camping available?

Camping is a great bargain and provides the best way to experience the Higher Ground Music Festival. Each campsite is reserved based on your order date, so no rushing in when the gates open to "stake your claim." Ordering your tickets and campsite early gets you closer to the music area. If you want to camp next to someone, have one person purchase all your campsite tickets at the same time so you can be next to each other. Higher Ground's camping and activities are close to the music area. Purchase your camping passes on-line! Get more details about camping...

5. When is the event and when should we arrive?

The concert dates are Friday and Saturday, August 13-14, 2010. Camping opens at 3:00 p.m. Thursday. Many people enjoy a quiet night with family and friends on Thursday with campfires and conversations long into the night. Campers are welcome to stay until 11 a.m on Sunday.

7. Is the seating for the event reserved?

No. Seating for the event is on a first-come first-served basis. Lawn chairs or camping chairs make an excellent seat to watch the musicians. Performance area gates typically open a hour before the music starts. At the end of the night, please take your chairs with you. The performance area is cleared each night.

This is an alcohol-free and tobacco-free event. Absolutely no alcohol or smoking of any kind will be allowed on the grounds. Anyone found to be in possession of these will be removed from the grounds.

The usual music fest/camping gear: lawn chairs, sunscreen, bug spray, rain gear (because if you have it, you won't need it), extra food for the campground, plastic bags for dirty or wet items, your tent, sleeping gear, campfire supplies, blankets, money, decorations for the campsite decorating contest, your Bible, and a great attitude.
